ASID Announces Speakers at Community-Wide National Conference 2022

GATHER, The National Conference by ASID will feature the most influential and inspirational in the design community

June 1, 2022, Washington D.C. – The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) announces today that Carmeon Hamilton, ASID, will anchor GATHER, the National Conference by ASID. Representing the inspirational next generation of design, Hamilton joins thought leaders across the design community who will speak at the conference in Miami, Florida, September 21-24, 2022.

“ASID is thrilled to welcome all members of the design community to share ideas, network, and learn from and inspire one another at GATHER this September,” said ASID CEO Gary Wheeler. “We are proud to feature Carmeon Hamilton as a guiding light in this forum to spearhead important discussions about the future of design. Carmeon first joined ASID as a student member, and now her vast and varied professional experience, together with her inspiring story and refreshing outlook, will help facilitate important dialogues about the future of design across the entire design community, members and non-members alike.

Ruju Jasani, Founder of Jasani Studio, NCIDQ, SEED | Speaker
Ruju Jasani is an interior architect who works across retail, hospitality and entertainment. As founder of the San Francisco-based Jasani Studio, Ruju designs for social wellbeing as well as business outcomes. Her projects in the United States, India, and Mexico have earned awards from design:retail, VMSD, and IIDA. Ruju has a BFA in Interior Architecture from Academy of Art University and a BA Honors in English from University of Mumbai. She is a member of ICSC, IIDA, AIA and SEED.
